QR code time clock for auto shops
A poster by the door is the whole time clock.
Paper timesheets get filled in on Friday, from memory. A kiosk needs a tablet that somebody has to buy, mount and charge. The cheapest time clock is the phone every tech already carries, pointed at a poster.
30-day money-back guarantee. No contract.

The time clock is a piece of paper.
Print the poster, tape it by the door. The crew clocks in by scanning it with their own phones, and Carvikon does the timesheets.
- Forgotten punches close themselves
- Overtime counted automatically
- Every correction keeps an audit trail
From a scan to the payday numbers.
Each shop gets its own QR code. A tech points the phone's camera at it, taps once, and the shift starts; a break is a tap, and so is clocking out. The office sees who is on the clock right now, and the week adds up in Timesheets by person and by day, with overtime counted past the weekly hours you set. Double-click a time to correct it in place. On payday, export a CSV or open the payday report for the pay week, which shows each person's regular and overtime hours and, where you have set a rate, estimated pay. Pay rates are optional, and only owners and managers see them. The time clock comes with Pro and Elite.
Scan, tap, working
The poster says it in three steps: open your camera, scan the code, tap once. Switch off in-app punches and the poster is the only way to clock in or out.
Forgotten punches get caught
A shift nobody ended closes itself after the limit you set. Needs review collects those, with any unusually long shift, so you set the real end time before payroll instead of guessing at it.
Corrections leave a trail
A tech who forgot to clock out asks for a correction and says why. A manager approves or declines it, and every hand edit to the timesheets is listed with who made it.
Questions shops ask about the time clock.
No. The poster is a printed page and every tech scans it with their own phone. If someone does not carry a phone, a manager can add their hours by hand.
They point the phone's camera at the poster by the door, scan the code and tap once. The same screen clocks them out and starts a break.
The shift closes itself after the limit you set, and it shows up in Needs review with the other hours that look wrong. A manager sets the real end time, and the correction is logged.
Yes. The office sees everyone who is on the clock, and the week's hours add up in Timesheets by person and by day.
It counts overtime past the weekly hours you set, and the payday report shows each person's regular and overtime hours and, where you have set a rate, estimated pay. It gives you the numbers to take to payroll.
