Your columns. Your words. Your shop.
A board that arrives blank is homework. A board that cannot be changed is somebody else's shop. The useful version is one that arrives already close and then gets out of the way.
Stage names are data, not decoration.
Every stage name is stored as the shop's own text. Rename Body to Panel and it stays Panel — including for a shop running in Spanish, where a renamed column is never silently reverted by a translation lookup. The names belong to the shop that typed them.
Start from your trade, not from nothing
Seven presets, each with the stages that trade really runs. Onboarding asks once and the board is built. Most shops change two or three things and are done.
Group lanes into one column
Waiting on parts and the work itself can share a column while staying separate lanes underneath, so the board shows the shape of the day without turning into twenty narrow strips.
More than one board, more than one shop
Run a second board for a second flow, or a second location with its own board, and see every shop from one login. Priced by the shop, never by the seat.
The obvious question
What happens to my board if I change my mind later?
Stages are renamed, reordered, added and retired at any time, and the jobs on them come along. Nothing about the first choice in onboarding is permanent — it only decides what the board looks like on day one.
