Estimate software for auto repair shops
An estimate the customer can answer from their phone.
A number on a napkin is not an estimate, and a phone call is not an approval. Build the estimate on the car, service by service, and let the customer answer each one from the link you send. What they approve becomes the bill, and what they decline is remembered.
30-day money-back guarantee. No contract.

Service by service, so the answer can be too.
On a car's Estimate tab, add a service such as front brakes, then what it takes: labor by the hour or at a flat price, parts, fees and sublet work. Body shops add body, paint and mechanical labor separately. Save the services you quote often to your price book and pick them next time. Send the estimate by email, by text where texting is set up, or copy the link. The customer sees each service with its price, approves or declines it, and types their name to authorize what they approved. You get a notification, and the approved work becomes the car's labor, parts and fees, so the invoice, Payments and Reports all use the same figures. Services they decline are kept on the car as declined work, so you can follow up later. Print it, or the customer can download a PDF from the link. Estimates come with every plan, and on Elite a PDF estimate from an insurer or supplier can be read onto the car.
Good, Better, Best
Offer two or three versions of the same job and the customer picks one, or none. The tier names are yours: Good, Better and Best, or your own words. Wrap shops on Elite can put a Visualizer picture on each option.
The answer is on the record
Customers approve or decline on their phone, and can leave a service unanswered to decide later. If they tell you by phone, record their answer yourself and the estimate notes that the shop recorded it. Nothing is done until they say yes.
A deposit at the yes
With card payments (Pro and Elite), set a deposit and the customer is offered a link to pay that share the moment they approve. It comes off the final bill.
Questions shops ask about estimates.
For customer-pay work it can: write the itemized estimate right on the car. A body shop can keep CCC or Mitchell for insurer estimates, and an insurer's estimate typed on the car becomes its first service, so the bill does not change.
Yes. They approve or decline each service, and can leave one unanswered to decide later.
By email, by text where texting is set up, or as a link you copy. Texting comes with Pro and Elite.
They are kept on the car as declined work, so you can follow up later.
No. The approved work becomes the car's labor, parts and fees, so the invoice, Payments and Reports all use the same figures.
Estimates come with every plan, for every trade.
